Meet the following system requirements to guarantee optimal functionality and performance of our patch management system.

VulnDetect

Supported Microsoft Operating Systems:

Windows 10

Windows 11

Windows Server 2012*

Windows Server 2016

Windows Server 2019

Windows Server 2022

Windows Server 2025

*) Due to limitations in the default PowerShell on these Operating Systems, packages are not supported by default. Some 2012 R2 systems with WMF 5.1 (Windows Management Framework) have been reported to work with some packages, however, there may be other requirements than WMF, such as certain .NET components. Also, these versions are in extended support from Microsoft or will reach End-of-Life soon.

**) PowerShell 5.1 is installed by default on all modern Windows and Windows Server systems.

Snapdragon-Based System Support

VulnDetect detects applications on Snapdragon-based systems, including both native ARM64 apps and x86/x64 apps. Most detections follow standard rules, but some ARM64 apps use different versioning schemes—please report discrepancies to support@secteer.com.

Currently, only x86/x64 apps are supported for patching. ARM64 app patching will be added per request, with priority based on demand.

In the UI, app architectures appear at the Host level as x86, x64, or arm64. This feature is still preliminary, and some ARM64 apps may have limitations for updates and deployment.

Supported Browsers (latest version for viewing results)

Although most modern browsers will work with VulnDetect, the following are officially supported:

Network/Internet connection (TLSv1.2/TLSv1.3 to VulnDetect.com)

Local administrative privileges for Agent deployment to Network

25 MB of free disk space

1GB of free disk space for upgrading software

(To ensure that there is space for the downloaded installers and the unpacked temporary files). Some software may require more space.

The above should be whitelisted in the Firewall/Proxy configuration.

PatchPro for Intune

System Requirements

Requires a x86_64 or AMD64-compatible processor (Intel or AMD)

Supported versions of Windows 10

Supported versions of Windows 11

Microsoft Entra ID joined or hybrid joined

Some updates may require PowerShell 5.1 and HTTPS access to agent.vulndetect.com

1GB of free disk space for upgrading software

Required Microsoft Permissions

Allows users to sign-in to the app, and allows the app to read the profile of signed-in users. It also allows the app to read basic company information of signed-in users.

Read organization information

Allows the app to read the organization and related resources, without a signed-in user. Related resources include things like subscribed skus and tenant branding information.

Read and write Microsoft Intune apps

Allows the app to read and write the properties, group assignments and status of apps, app configurations and app protection policies managed by Microsoft Intune, without a signed-in user.
